Handicapped License Plates
For your convenience, this vehicle is licensed with a “disabled vehicle” license plate. As such, this RV is allowed to park in “handicapped or accessible parking slips” at all RV or campground sites. As the ramp deploys on the passenger (right) side of the coach, when selecting a site, please consider extra space which may be needed for ease of use of the Braun wheelchair lift.
Special Driver's License
A special driver’s license is not required to drive an RV. This vehicle does not have accessibility equipment (hand/foot controls) which enable a person with a disability to drive. This vehicle is equipped with a Braun wheelchair lift, which can accommodate all type of wheelchairs and occupants, up to 1,000 pounds.
RV Insurance
The owner’s vehicle insurance does not provide coverage for others. All other users can apply for and receive insurance via our insurance partners, during their usage. Check with your auto insurance or homeowner’s policy to determine if your companies may provide additional coverage through your existing policies. Our partner insurance coverage may include age restrictions. Please be sure you’ve selected the best possible option for your driver. We can also provide a driver for you.
Mileage Fee
There is no separate mileage charge or mileage fee for use of this vehicle.
Electronics, Digital & Communications
The Coach is equipped with two television sets, a mobile hotspot and wifi boosters, and satellite communications for your use. Some of these features are available as add-on package rates. Smart TVs allow you to stream your favorite subscription services with ease and simplicity: just bring your password.
Dump Tanks: Fresh Water, Black and Gray Tanks
You may dump all tanks at approved dump sites, at your expense, during your trip.
You are responsible for dumping all tanks before you return the RV. If you would like us to take care of the tanks, you will be charged an additional fee.
Emergency Road Service/Roadside Assistance
This vehicle is covered by emergency road service and a phone call away for basic help. Contact information for Emergency Service and Roadside Assistance will be provided at the time of pickup. This service is available 24 hours daily and can be reached via toll-free telephone call.
Wheelchair Lift
The Braun Lift is hydraulic and pneumatic powered and operated by a handheld or key-fob remote. The lift deploys easily and retreats into a locking door on the passenger side of the Winnebago Coach.
Roll In Shower/Floor Pump
The Winnebago Coach features a roll-in shower. There is no step threshold for the person with a disability. A portable shower bench is included for use. The shower does include a floor drain pump, which ensures that water will not spill outward to other areas of the coach. There is a roll under area in the bedroom, foldout and accessible tables for the wheelchair user.
Bed, Bedding and Linens
The Winnebago Coach features a queen-sized bed. Bedding and linens may include zippered sleeping-bag type bedding that has been found to be easy to use and comfortable to many travelers with a disability. However, your personal selections may be more appropriate and comfortable for your use. Please inform us, if there is an option we may be able to assemble for your use.
Generator/Propane
The Coach is fully equipped with a generator and propane for use during trips. These systems are state-of-the art and simple to use. The Coach has an operation manual for reference, after the initial orientation. Controls for many of these systems are strategically located lower for the wheelchair user’s access. Cloud-based videos may also be available for quick reference and access via QR code near the location of the controls.
Pet Friendly: Service Animals
We invite you to bring your service animal along as needed. Please understand there is an additional charge for pet deposits and cleaning.
Sanitization Process & Cleaning
The Coach is inspected for damages, cleaned, and restocked with our basic consumable supplies for each trip. We don’t book rentals on return days to allow ample time for sanitization and minor repairs as needed.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed and prefer that smoking be done away from the Coach for safety reasons. The RV is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well as a fire extinguisher if needed.
White Glove Service
Our White Glove Service is a full-service experience. For each guest experience that may mean different features. We can pick you up from your local home, an airport or other public location. We provide a driver who will take you to your campsite or RV Park destination. Our driver can setup the RV and leave everything operational for the time of your trip. At the end of your time, our driver will return and complete the return pre-inspection and departure checklist. You will then be delivered to your original location. You let us know what you need, and we’ll have it ready.
